Welcome to Poodle Me This!

Well, I decided to start a website and blog soon after we brought home our new poodle. You may recognize her picture below from our home page. We tossed around several names and ended up with Mocha Latte. We are both iced coffee lovers and immediately saw signs of coffee and cream in her coloring.

Her birthday is April 6, 2024. We got her when she was ten weeks old. That was four months ago. We knew that puppies were sometimes challenging, but we underestimated her deliberation on chewing (on fingers, especially) and production of poop! She has to be one of the top performers, in both cases.

We have sought others' wisdom in several books and other blogs. We have tried several strategies, but we try to give them a chance to minimize confusion. So far we see progress in the chewing issue, but have not stemmed the flow of the flow of fertilizer.

We have no apologies for highlighting Mocha's picture. There will likely be more in the future. However, we have plans to add a gallery to show your pups. More news on that - soon. We will also have a dedicated FYI page, but until then, you may use the blog posts for discussions.
